The Network is a group of representatives from voluntary organisations and community groups providing services for older people (aged 50 plus); it meets about four times a year. Its aims are:
1. To help providers share experiences, reduce overlaps in services and enable us to work more effectively together to meet the needs of older people in Westminster.
2. To promote a better understanding of the development of the health and wellbeing agenda and its impact on the voluntary sector.
3. To explore initiatives that might lead to joint bidding for funding and contracts.
The current Chair is Liz Tack, Head of Services at Age UK Westminster.
The Older People Providers Network is coordinated by Shirin Talwar at One Westminster. Please email Shirin at [email protected] if you would like to join.
