Comfortable to help and engage with visitors of all ages
Training
Training will be given during your first weeks of starting. We support volunteers with continued training opportunities related to their duties:
Introduction to the museum and its collections
Till use and cash handling
Health and Safety
Public-facing skills to talk with visitors about our collections, events and exhibitions
Scripts and practise runs with staff support for public tours
Daily briefing from the Duty Manager
Where applicable: Instructions on special activities and some key fact about exhibition and events will be sent out via email in advance.
