Description

RPO resound is the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra’s award-winning community and education department which pioneers projects that are designed to promote engagement with and access to music-making for participants from across all sections of society. Launched in 1993, RPO resound is still one of the most celebrated programmes of its kind in the UK, and RPO musicians are specially trained to deliver creative projects nationally and internationally. From stroke rehabilitation work in partnership with the NHS, to borough-wide curriculum reform programmes, RPO resound adapts its work to a wide variety of settings to establish meaningful partnerships and transformative participatory experiences.
