Description
NEWPIN was established to improve opportunities for families and their young children. We aim to give parents who are facing severe difficulties in their life, the skills and confidence to bring up their child in a positive, caring and supportive environment. We contribute to the development of each parent's self-esteem and positive self-identity by running a centre which enables parents and children to access structured and informal learning activities promoting positive interaction between parent and child. This gives children from deprived backgrounds valuable play opportunities which include safe outdoor play. NEWPIN offers structured programmes for those with more needs.
Another service we offer is a Pre-school 5 mornings a week offering 2 and 3 year old government funded places.
